By utilizing the larger eyelet and the anchors, you can set the belay device into an auto-locking mode for top-roping your second (and/or third) with ease, and the smaller eyelet helps you lower them without any hassle. Apart from that, this belay device does everything else you need on multipitches, including lowering, rappelling, and standard belaying. V-shaped grooves give you the friction you need to reliably catch and lower heavier climbers.
