There’s merit to LA Golf’s claims that their putters are the most technologically advanced on the market. Whereas other companies use one, or a combination of metal components, LA Golf Putters are constructed almost entirely from carbon. Carbon, a material five times less dense than steel, allows more than half of the head weight to be distributed at the extreme perimeter via tungsten weights, resulting in massive MOI, stability, and forgiveness on off-center strikes. Thanks to patented Descending Loft technology, LA Golf’s technological advancements are equally impressive in the face. Descending Loft consists of four flat surfaces milled into the putter face that progressively decline in loft by one degree from top to bottom. Consequently, all putts, regardless of where they’re struck on the face, launch at a consistent angle and begin rolling forward sooner, yielding highly predictable results. The final piece of technology, and what LA Golf is most well known for, is the putter’s stability shaft. Putting analysis software has proven that torsional deflection occurs on longer putts. To prevent that effect, the P-Series 135 shaft is exceptionally stiff and has low torque, minimizing bending commonly found in traditional steel shafts. This leads to better distance control and putts that start on their intended line. Additionally, the shaft’s proprietary material produces superior feel.
