That starts with 800-fill goose down that’s been treated with Down Defender to make it more weather resistant and to protect its loft for long-term insulation. We also like the Pertex Quantum fabric for a light but rip-resistant finish that helps keep the Helium’s weight hovering around two pounds. The mummy shape also sheds a few grams while holding in more heat, along with the insulated draft tube and Nautilus Multi-Baffle Hood. This bag packs down small and doesn’t weigh us down when we’re backpacking or mountaineering.
