When we go pebble wrestling, Petzl’s Alto Crash Pad totes our gear and cushions our falls. The multiple handles make it easy for our crew to slide it into our fall zone, while the triple density foam softens the blow without bottoming out. When it’s time to head home, we fold our sending shoes and chalk bucket inside and zip the outer edges to make sure they don’t slip out on our way back to the car.
