Built to stand up to strong winds and shed heavy snows, the Tasmanian relies on the strength of its freestanding 9.5mm 7,000 series aluminum pole-and-hub frame. This shock-corded frame combines a continuous pole design with hubs on either end and an additional pole in the middle to help the tent stand up to strong winds. Durable textile tent body features pole clips for fast and easy setup and 2 large doors with zippered mesh windows for easy entry and great airflow. Equipped with a 1,500mm coating and factory-sealed seams, the Tasmanian’s UV-resistant 75-denier polyester fly includes extra poles for extra weather protection and more usable area in the 2 vestibules it creates. The fly also features weatherproof buckles for maximum adjustability and protection. The tent’s 75-denier polyester taffeta floor features a heavy 5,000mm coating to help ensure ground moisture never makes it to campers sleeping inside the tent. Extra-large #8 zippers on the Tasmanian’s doors and vestibules stand up to tough conditions. A true 4-season design, all vents in the tent can be fully closed to lock out cold air.
