Too big for extra petite women

I bought this for my girlfriend in size XS but it was too big. She's 4'10 and 90 lbs. The vest looked great and the quality seemed good. But I had to return it.

Great vest, why poke holes to attach tags though?

My wife loves the vest, very comfortable and warm. Only thing we can't understand is how Mountain Hardware can take so much time to focus on quality materials and craftsmanship only to poke holes in it with safety pins to attach tags. Plenty of zipper loops and tags where they could be fastened so bewildered that they would scar beautiful gear just to attach tags people immediately throw away.

I hike, backpack and snowshoe. I purchased this vest to give me some other layering options. I have worn it twice on high 30 degree/ low 40's with just a heavy shirt underneath while in the mountains of Colorado. It provided just the right amount of warmth I was hoping for. I am a small person with a curvy figure and some brands I just can't wear as they will be too tight at the hips if I size to fit me from the waist up. This fits and feels great!

My favorite vest

This vest is just what I was looking for. Warm, yet sleek and fitted, flattering. True to size. I am a typical medium, 5'7" 135 lbs, and the medium fits great. Great to ski in and nice enough to wear on top of a shirt to work. Love it!

Love this vest!

Love the color, lightweight feel of the best and its warmth. The pockets are deep too which is nice for holding my phone and a bottle of water as I walk my dog. I live in NJ and right now it’s the perfect thing to wear over a long sleeved shirt when I workout outside or walk the dog. Soon that won’t be enough to keep me warm but it’s so light and not bulky that it will fit fine under a jacket. Love this vest. It’s replacing another hard mountain vest in received as a gift about 5 years ago and I love it as much as I did that one though it’s a different style. Oh, it also has interior pockets but I haven’t used them yet.

Warm, light, and sustainable!

I bought this vest a few weeks ago and it's finally getting chilly enough to wear it. Love it! It fits true to size, is super stylish, and I love that it's almost entirely made of recycled materials. My favorite thing about synthetic insulation is that it doesn't retain odors the same way that down does, and is still plenty warm as an insulating layer.
