Why We Like The Marmot Refuge Pro Jacket

Warm, windproof, and waterproof, the Marmot Refuge Pro Jacket seals out the yucky stuff when we do the fun stuff in the snow. It's fully seam sealed with a waterproof membrane and powder skirt to move the moisture off us with plenty of breathability and ventilation, too, such as zippered underarm vents and a two-way zipper that opens from to top or bottom to shed heat without shedding a layer. That keeps us warm and dry when we're in line or on the lift—and cools us off when we're slogging uphill or skiing in warm weather.

Refugee jacket

Loved the jacket material and quality, but the sleeves were huge at the wrist. Even the Velcro straps could not bundle

Great Jacket

I love that the front pockets zip horizontal so there is no possibility of losing your car keys in the powder

My Newest Skinning Companion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is roomy with plenty of pockets making uphill sends easier. It breaths much better than I thought it might, because it does appear to be a bit heavy. It vented well and made for comfortable climbs even on a sunny day. I would recommend it.

Awesome jacket

Great fitting jacket! I can add the Featherless insulator underneath on colder windy days. And I have Marmot Slopestar pants I wear with this: black, navy, Port Royal and orange. I am a big fan of Marmot and it's weatherproof materials and features.

Great jacket, just not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent jacket. Sleeves a bit long for me and the military green color was too yellow for me. I returned it.

Nice but the color is off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A bit disappointed that colors don’t really match the photo. It’s more on the brown side than orange. Haven’t had the chance to try the jacket out in the wild but it seems like it will hold up.

Stretch Is Such A Treat!

The stretch of this jacket really surprised me! Even layered over an insulation piece, the range of motion is unmatched. Helmet compatable hood is an added bonus as well, perfect for blistering summits and up cold uphill travel days.
